About us
Direct · shows · dealers
Built on a network of cutters, dealers, and miners whose experience is measured in decades — and applied to every stone we carry.

Our approach

Our advantage is the roster behind us — cutters, gemologists, and dealers whose combined careers span the international gem trade from Bangkok to Tucson.

We buy direct where direct makes sense — at the source and on the international show floors of Tucson, Bangkok, and Hong Kong — and maintain a steady inventory from the short list of dealers we've earned our place beside for the stones we can't always intercept ourselves.

Headquartered in Spokane, Washington. Significant stones leave our vault with a third-party gemological report and a provenance dossier; smaller stones include our own analysis and origin notes on request.

Why invest
Eight reasons
The case for gemstones

A store of value
you can wear.

Fine coloured gemstones have served as portable wealth for as long as currency has existed. Beyond their beauty, the right stones offer something rare in modern portfolios: tangible ownership, historic appreciation, and zero counterparty risk.

  1. 01

    Inflation hedge

    Real asset

Fine coloured stones are physical, scarce, and priced in their own market — not pinned to the value of a single currency.

    Real
  2. 02

    Wealth, in a small format

    Portable value

A high-grade gem can carry six figures in a single pocket. Few asset classes pack value into so little volume.

    Compact
  3. 03

    Tangible ownership

    Held, not promised

Unlike a share certificate or a digital token, a gemstone is yours the moment it leaves the vault — no counterparty, no platform risk.

    Held
  4. 04

    Long-term appreciation

    Historic upside

Fine ruby, sapphire, and emerald have shown decades of upward auction trajectory, particularly at top quality and origin.

    Decades
  5. 05

    Portfolio diversification

    Uncorrelated

Gem prices move on their own cycle — driven by mining supply, fashion, and connoisseurship — largely uncorrelated with equities and bonds.

    Uncorrelated
  6. 06

    Beauty in use

    Wear it, hold it

Unlike most stores of value, a gemstone earns interest in another currency entirely: aesthetic enjoyment. Set it, wear it, keep it.

    Worn
  7. 07

    Privacy

    Discreet

Ownership is private. No public ledger, no broker statement — just the stone, its certification, and your records.

    Quiet
  8. 08

    Generational transfer

    Heirloom

Gemstones are among the simplest assets to pass down — they don't expire, don't need accounts, and don't depend on a system to keep working.
